Please push play and see the summary below.

If you are busy, here's the short... We're bringing together a small group of parents to talk about the challenges our student-athlete's face and how we can support their growth through adversity so they stay on track as resilient, high-performing, and impactful leaders.
INTRODUCING
The "One Shot" Parent Locker Room
The “One Shot” Parent Locker Room is a collaborative space for parents raising high-performing, resilient, and impactful student-athletes. In the “Locker Room,” parents learn, exchange ideas, and troubleshoot challenges together, all while fostering the growth and leadership development of their children.
Mindset ✦ Relationships ✦ Habits ✦ Performance ✦ Leadership ✦ Culture
They needed our support then, and need it even more now.
It looks different for each child (student-athlete) and each situation. What worked for us, might not be best for them. It's not about the winning. It's about the moment to moment growth. And the high-fives celebrating the moments in between.
If you are a parent who wants to help your student-athlete...
...develop a growth mindset and embrace what it means to be an impactful leader while deepening your connection with your child, then you already know that it's important that they know how to...
- View situations from different perspectives,
- Differentiate between what they can versus what they cannot control,
- Be a positive teammate, step up as a leader when leadership is needed,
- Build confidence and resilience,
- Possess a set of tools to approach adversity,
- Determine if and when to have difficult conversation that move their performance, their relationships with their coaches and teammates, and their teams forward.

During our live calls,
we will put our heads together on many of the following topics…
Â
-
The Biggest Challenges
What are the biggest challenges you and your student-athlete(s) find yourselves facing, problem-solving, and solution-finding? Where is your student-athlete needing the most support? -
Parent and Student-Athlete RelationshipÂ
Do you listen? Really listen? (...And let your student-athlete sort through pathways and outcomes?) Is your child tired of hearing "Mom/Dad's" voice? Do you choose the right time to give feedback? Do you celebrate their wins—big and small? -
Goals, Habits, and a Strong Why
How do you help your student-athlete identify their big why, set goals, create an action road map, build habits to be high performing, and set up healthy boundaries to accomplish their goals? -
Values, Mindset, and Mental ToughnessÂ
How do you help your student-athlete build resilience and mental toughness as well as practice self-compassion and gratitude to be of strong character, mind, and body? -
Establish Balance and Manage Pressure
How do you help your student-athlete create and maintain balance to manage the pressure and expectations that come from Academics, Sports, Family, Friends, Faith, Hobby, and Rest? -
Circle of Influence
How do you help your student-athlete build a strong Circle of Influence (a support system of like-minded peers, role models, mentors) to become a stronger teammate, performer, and leader? -
Power of Impact
Does your student-athlete understand the Power of Impact they have? They have a power within them to lead (lead self, lead peers, lead team, lead culture)—this is the Power of Impact. With success, comes greater responsibility to understand this power and how it is used. They have the power of impact, whether they want it or not.
100% What This Is NOT
This "Locker Room" space is a positive space. While some background discussion will be needed for context to brainstorm solutions and share resources, so that you have the best experience possible, please be assured that we will protect the space to keep it from from toxic, deconstructive, and inappropriate dialogue (whining, complaining, etc.)
